Baptism has many significant spiritual applications
It is an outward, public expression of your inward commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord (Matthew 10:32). It identifies you with Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-5). Immersion into the water symbolizes the death and burial of the old life, its behaviors, and sins; the coming out of the water represents resurrection to new life now lived by the power of Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It identifies you as a part of God's family (1 Corinthians 12:13).
We hold at least two Baptisms each year. These Vineyard family celebrations are held in the sanctuary during the morning service. There is a mandatory class the same morning. You must pre-register at least one week prior to the Baptism. Pastor Mike Safford performs the Baptisms unless you would rather have a parent, friend, mentor, Community Group Leader, etc. facilitate yours.

During the morning service
A mandatory Baptism Class will be the same morning at 9:00 am in room 108. All Baptism candidates must Register to be Baptised no later than one week prior to the Baptism. Please register by pressing the button below:
What to Bring:
- A towel
- Bathing suit or shorts
- A dark shirt to be baptized in
Be sure to invite family & friends to witness this milestone in your walk with God. We will have a photographer capturing your Baptism. Photos and Certificates will be mailed out within a couple of weeks of the Baptism.
