Baptism has many significant spiritual applications

It is an outward, public expression of your inward commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord (Matthew 10:32). It identifies you with Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-5). Immersion into the water symbolizes the death and burial of the old life, its behaviors, and sins; the coming out of the water represents resurrection to new life now lived by the power of Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It identifies you as a part of God's family (1 Corinthians 12:13).

We hold at least two Baptisms each year. These Vineyard family celebrations are held in the sanctuary during the morning service. There is a mandatory class the same morning. You must pre-register at least one week prior to the Baptism. Pastor Mike Safford performs the Baptisms unless you would rather have a parent, friend, mentor, Community Group Leader, etc. facilitate yours.

Our next Baptism is being held on:

Sunday, March 25, 2018
At 10am

Registration will open 2/11/18
